A little quaint restaurant on Las Olas Blvd in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Just thought to stop and have lunch. I asked to be seated outside next to the sidewalk since it was such a lovely day. Once I sat down, I noticed the table to be filled with dust which is the dust from being so close to the street.
We ordered a few dishes. We ordered the Fried Calamari, the Steak Saltado, Paella, and Cuban Sandwich.
I will begin with the White Sangria. It was tasteless, very little fruity vibe and watery. The Fried Calamari was unappealing and also tasteless. The Paella looked very appetizing but it was bland. It did have a lot of seafood in it but with little flavor. The Cuban Sandwich was more of Pork Sandwich than a Cuban Sandwich because it had shredded pork. And finally the Steak Saltado was also bland and unappealing to the eye. The steak was full of fat chunks which made it difficult to swallow.
What else can I say but I do not recommend this restaurant nor will I go there again…… Sorry The Chimney House.
