Vitality Spa is the Spa in the Allure of the Seas. Lets begin by the booking process.
There are two young ladys at the front desk explaining all the treatments that they provide. They were very polite and hospitable. They booked my husband’s and my treatment. They were at two different times.
The day finally came. My husband went first. To my dismay, I saw my husband walking into our cabin room 30 minutes after. He had a mad face. I asked him what had happened. He said well let me sit first before I tell you what happened. He said first they took him to a waiting area where he has to fill consent forms. He said he saw everyone leave with their massage therapist and he stayed waiting. Twenty five minutes after he went back to the reception area and said where is my massage therapist. They said they were sorry but they didn’t know what had happened that they would find one immediately. He was so upset that he just told them to forget it that he wouldn’t get his massage. He told them just make sure it doesn’t happen to his wife.
So there I go to my massage. I also waited about 30 minutes after a man asked me if I was being helped. He then told me that my massage therapist had gone to lunch so that was why I was left waiting. (Interesting). I did my massage just because I really need one. They didn’t even say I am sorry but I guess since my husband had given then a piece of his mind they credit me the money.
It was such a bad experience that I would not recommend that place to anyone.
But that is not all. I had also booked nail and feet treatment for another day. That went a little better than the previous. The nail technician was very nice. She did all she could being that there were not many colors to pick from and to my amazement she said that they didn’t let her use the acrylic machine in the cruise therefore she would have to use a nail file. Needless to say, the nails did not look good. If you book an acrylic nail refill in the cruise BEWARE it will be done with a nail file. CRAZY….. AND IT IS VERY EXPENSIVE…….
WITH THIS THOUGHT I LEAVE MY SCORE
TOMORROW WILL BE BLOGGING ABOUT THE FOOD EXPERIENCE AT THE ALLURE OF THE SEA
Thank you for advising me not to use the spa. I was thinking of going to this cruise this summer.
